Advanced Developer Certification Course in Ruby on Rails

The packaged course is aimed at students who are in the final years of their graduation (M.C.A., B.E., B.Tech., M.Sc., etc.) or who have already completed their graduation willing to take up a development career in open source technologies (Linux-Apache-MySQL-Ruby). The training builds the required skills for the candidates on open source technologies for developer position. The candidate will work on a live project during the course.

   Meta Programming, Active Record Associations, Ajax on Rails, REST Concepts, Automating Rails Applications Deployment using Capistrano, Action Mailer, Rails and Security, Rails Plug-ins, Rails Mashups, overview of Rails 2.0 features, building Flickr (photo-sharing) in Ruby on Rails, Test automation using Ruby Tools (Watir, etc), building REST-ful applications in Ruby/Rails, Agile development methodologies overiew (scrum, etc)
